***CREATING A SAFE SPACE***
The Rainbow Society is committed to facilitating and supporting safe spaces for all cis and trans LBQ women and non-binary people who have a close connection or affiliation with the women’s community.
This means that diversity is important.
We ask that all members of the Rainbow Society, and those attending LGBT+ events and venues are respectful of an individual’s right to identify, look, and act in a way that makes them feel comfortable and happy. Please do not judge, and you will not be judged.
It is ok to ask someone what pronoun they use and/or how they identify; rather than assuming and mis-gendering/mis-pronouning them. Anyone who is found to be negatively-affecting this safe space (such as, but not limited to biphobia, transphobia, homophobia, or any kind of physical, emotional or mental abuse) will be asked to leave the Rainbow Society.
